Poppy Card # 1 – Lilac

Another original plant to the property, it keeps providing wonderful fragrant flowers every spring.

Apparently Lilac bushes can live to be 350 years old. I suspect our bush was an original to the property, the farmhouse was built in 1845, 175 years ago. Or it was planted in 1939 when the barn was built and other major work done, so it is at least 81 years old and going strong.
