Because February 2020 was even bleaker than usual in my little corner of Canada (the beginning of the dreaded first ‘lockdown’), and it was too early for indoor garden seeds to be sown, I thought I would give some succulent plants a go in the south-facing windowsill. Weak winter light is particularly intriguing to work with. I love how it enveloped the soft subtle colour of the plant.
